To have politicians commit to a contract with it's citizens. Politicians need to be responsive to citizens and not to their party, or donation contributors, or for the greater advancement & glory of themselves.

In fact if I could have my way I would abolish the two party system.
Each politician stands on their own merit, holds allegiance only to the State or US Constitution and to their constituents.
